Where do new ideas come from?

I think new ideas come from different situation and imagination. Our imagination could create plenty new ideas. We could come up with new ideas depend on someone's else ideas and make it more interesting and useful. For example, Thomas Edison used the idea of the first telephone's creator from Alexandra Graham Bell. Thomas Edison improved the ideas of Bell to make the sound of the telephone clearer and the network works better! New ideas also could come from moments of experience. To write a book or novel, you could use your experience to apply to your story. The main character could be you or someone that you know or really close that had a lot interesting experience. Guessing could make you come up with new ideas. Human guessing that the world is not round but it's a square. Then Galileo guessed that it's not square and that helped him come up with news ideas to find out which shape the world has. Just by a guess, Galileo changed the world's of science and the world of discovery in human world! New ideas could come from everywhere you're standing.

Favourite Short Story From Our Unit

In this short story unit, I like all three of the short story that we have discussed. But for my favorite, I would choose "The Sniper". I love the way the author, O'Flaherty describe the theme through the end with the sniper killed his own brother. It shows how Civil War splits up family, brother against brother. Although, I do not like guns and violence but the story was really touched. The conflict between the two snipers was really tensional. Before I read the story, I had no interested in Civil War but after read "The Sniper" I got more curious. I was impressed of the sniper's plan to help him sneak out of the roof and kill the other sniper.
