Girls huddle under a rice basket to escape the rain!

The picture named "Girls huddle under a rice basket to escape the rain" was taken by Steve McCurry in 1983 at Java,Indonesia. The background of the picture is quite simple. The background is almost the green color of the plants and the dark brown of the ground. The color also simple too! It just the dirty white color of the shirt of the younger girl. And the green dress of the bigger girl match the beautiful color of the plant outside. The bigger girl with the green dress (could be the sister of the white shirt girl) holding the rice basket in her head escape from the rain. The white shirt girl (could be younger sister of the green dress girl)huddle behind her sister, she put her hands together, look like she breath slowly to keep her warmer. The sister one hand hold the rice basket one hand hold her dress. Her younger sister huddle so close to her and her eyes look different directions looked innocent does not know what is going on. But her older sister looked like she just saw something shocked, she open her mouth, she could not say anything. The picture not really bright not really dark!
When I looked at the picture, I felt sad. Look at two girls trying to protect themselves from something dangerous or shocked and that they scared. Their simple clothes just simple green dress for the older sister and white dirty shirt for the younger girl. They might be poor. The older sister one hand hold the basket, one hand hold her dress. She must help her mom haverts the rice from farm. Two girls by themselves so they were brave enough to escape. But the younger sister, her face look innocent, she just know that she's cold, put two hands exhale to her hands. Her older sister look shocked she must shock from something. How could they escape or what happened? It is the great picture!

At school, I feel......

At school, I have different feeling in different times. I felt happy with my friends. I have lunch with them. We share our secret and talking about it make a big topic of the day. I feel nervous when the tests or quizzes are coming. My heart pumping so fast, but then I calm down and relax to do well on the test! Sometimes, I feel overwhelmed because m teachers give me so much homework although I know that the want us to done all the things before the break so we could have a free break.
Other side, I also feel joyful doing my homework and project to get a good grade. In the morning, when I wait for the bus to come, I feel really sleepy! My eyes close, I could sleep everywhere at that time!
When I make a new friend or my friends help me with anything, I feel so peaceful ad cozy! I thought I have a best friends in the whole world. Sometimes, things do not went well with our friendship like we were fighting or mad at each other. I feel sad and trying to build up our friendship again!
Over all, I feel really happy and excited when I'm at school as long as I'm with my friends! If I get good grade, I'll jump out of my mind for my happiness and prepare for my trip to come back to Vietnam in one week!

School Transferred

It was last winter, the worst winter ever! I was thinking like that. The story was my parents said I have to transfer to another country and study at international school. When I was young, I never thought that I will transfer until I get scholarship and go oversea. I have to leave my entire good friend and my school. I was so nervous. The people in ISKL were not nice that I thought not every one). My classmates didn't talk with me, except we had to work in team. I used to eat lunch alone. I felt so lonely and angry. At that time, I missed my friends in Vietnam more than ever. I cried sometimes! I don’t want to talk with anyone about that or anything. When I came home, I just go to my room and doing my homework. I didn't tell my mom or dad! But in the end of 6th grade, my classmate began to talk with me more. Then I met Ayaka, Amalia, Anissa in my bus! We began to know each other and then we are good friends now. This year, I'm not shy anymore, now I become talkative! I know more friends from other class. I'm so happy now!

My Writing Re-Telling Myth Reflections

In my writing assignment about Re-Telling Myth story, I think my project show Thinking Creatively because I wrote my writing creative as much as I can. I used different verbs, strong verbs. I am proud of this piece of writing because I did try as best as I could and tried to search the strongest words I could find. I could do better do better by describing and being organized about the story. More detail about the point of view of my character. The most challenging of this assignment is how to use the writing to describe our character’s point of view and their expression in words. In this project( piece of writing) that I have to apply more about description and more strong verbs and be carful about my past, future tense in my next writing assignment.

Just Desert Blog

Once upon a time, there was evil witch named Desser lived in the desert. Not like any wizard lived in desert, had black skin, curly hair, Desser got a white beautiful skin, black straight hair. Her dad was African but her mom was Asian so that why Desser got a beautiful skin! She always kept her hope on her heart that one day she will rule the world and become the most powerful wizard! Day by day, she eavesdropped other witches whispered with each other! “Guys, I heard there was a lightning pumpkin!”- One of the witches began to talk. There was the myth about the light pumpkin that who could use the pumpkin to make a desert and eat it (during Halloween at 12pm) will become the world’s most powerful witch. But if they got a light of the pumpkin, they will lose all their power and they have to stay where they were forever! An idea popped up in Desser’s head. She will get the pumpkin and make the desert. “It’ll so easy”- Desser thought to herself. Do you know why she was so confident? Desser was the popular chef in the Witch Desert’s World. Each desert she created could make the other people change their mind. The flour she used liked made in paradise. They munched slowly, closed their eyes, to appreciate the desert. The witches sucked their fingers after the desert. You could imagine how delicious it was NOW! That night, she reached her broom, tipped toe to the deserted forest. Desser only heard the foxes howl on the top of the mountain. Desser ran her left feet backward to get up the speed, and then flied up to the sky. She landed to the place called: “The pumpkin land” where she heard the witches mentioned. There were a million of pumpkins. Suddenly, Desser found a pumpkin. It was normal like the other one but when Desser came closer, it grew brighter. She put the pumpkin in her bag. Desser flied back, she flied as fast as the rocket with her broom. She was furious about may be someone will come and steal the pumpkin from her. Day by day, Deser just stayed at home, wait until to 31th October. Finally, the day had come. 12 ‘clock. Other witches go to party Trick or Treat, bring with them the pumpkin and candies. The bats came out of the dark cave, sing their celebration song! Only Desser stayed at home. She carefully, took out the pumpkin from her bag. Put into the table. She already prepared all the supplies she needed. Desser reached the knife come closer to the pumpkin. appeared. Her evil eye like a red bull, her glare looked like prepare to kill somebody. Her pupils sharp like a shark. Onee hand holds the knife, one hand holds the pumpkin. Each time she come closer, the corona appear. Can not stand anymore, Desser spearded the knife up high, used all her energy, rush in to the pumpkin. The corona appeared brighter and brighter and then the pumpkin disappears. Desser feels weak. Oh Noooo!!!!! She lost all her power. Now, she just stayed there, no talent and power. Just desert where she lived in!

Why Write?

We write and other people write because they know writing is really important. People know how to write so they could create wonderful novels, books, song and poems. By these we use to sing and use everyday! For example: Diary. If you don’t have anyone to share or our bi secret that you don’t want to share, you can write in your diary and keep it. My mom always writes a letter to me after she mad at me about grade, study. In every letter, she sorry because she was angry and started to scold. But all she wanted was to help me better and she wants me to know that. I still keep all the letter. I think we write because we want everybody to know what we are feeling by letter or keep it in your diary.
